Dental Assistant

We are a small, patient-centered private dental practice seeking a reliable, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team on Fridays and Saturdays.

Our practice is owned and operated by a USC faculty dentist specializing in geriatric dentistry and the care of medically complex patients, while providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized, high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

As a small practice, we value teamwork, professionalism, and strong patient relationships. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the dentist and gain meaningful clinical experience in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Take and process dental radiographs
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
Manage operatory turnover and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Qualifications:
Coronal polishing and radiology certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Experience preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply
