We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Dental Hygienist to join our thriving general, multi-doctor, private dental practice. This full/part time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive and friendly environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in the overall patient experience. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality preventive care and education to patients, performing thorough assessments, and delivering treatments such as scaling and root planing. Your skills in air polishing and the use of a Cavitron will be essential as you help patients maintain optimal oral health.
You will also be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering nitrous oxide, and effectively documenting procedures in Dentrix. Patient recall, dental charting, and gingivitis treatment are integral parts of the role, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. You will see one patient at a time, allowing for personalized attention and a focused approach to each appointment. Each hygienist will have 2 chairs to alternate between to allow for smooth transition between patients.
Our office values a work-life balance, offering a one-hour lunch break and a large parking lot outside our practice, ensuring that parking is never an issue. We foster a collaborative environment among our multi-doctor team, where your contributions will be appreciated and recognized.
In addition to an hourly rate of $44-$46, we offer a variety of benefits, including the option to join our office health insurance plan, one week of sick pay each year, and vacation pay that scales with your length of employment. If you choose to opt into our health insurance plan, we will contribute half of lowest premium to lower your monthly out of pocket cost.
