Insurance verification specialist/biller

Prestige Dental in Spring is in search of a insurance verification specialist/biller to help us to continue to provide our Excellent, In-Demand Dental Services!

Key duties involve reviewing diagnoses and treatment codes, processing insurance and patient payments, handling denied claims, and ensuring billing accuracy.

This role also requires a basic understanding of pre-authorizations, financial reporting, and customer service to assist patients with billing questions and payment plans.

Core responsibilities
Claims and billing: Create and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies, using diagnosis and treatment codes.

Verification and data entry: Verify patient insurance information and benefits, ensuring all demographic data is correct and up-to-date.

Patient account management: Work with patients on outstanding balances, answer billing questions, and help them set up payment plans.

Additional duties
Authorization and pre-service criteria: Secure pre-authorizations for treatments or procedures when necessary.

Saturdays 9-2 (We open one Saturday a month. The week with the open saturday, it would open from Tuesday - Saturday)
