Beyond the Eye: How Trust AI is Redefining Diagnostic Confidence in Dental Hygiene
With Loren King, RDH
Course Description:
Dental hygiene is at the frontlines of disease detection — but what if hygienists could work with an intelligent clinical co-pilot that sees patterns, flags pathology, and enhances diagnostic confidence in real-time? In this CE-accredited course, Loren King RDH explores the science, clinical applications, and ethical integration of Trust AI, a next-generation dental AI platform designed to support hygiene-led care. Through real-world case studies and data from over 13,000 clinical messages, Loren demonstrates how Trust AI empowers hygienists to identify caries and perio pathologies more accurately, plan recall intervals with greater precision, and document findings with automatic SOAP notes and insurance narratives. This is more than tech — it’s a revolution in clinical thinking. Attendees will leave with a deep understanding of how AI can become a trusted ally in the operatory, improving patient outcomes, workflow efficiency, and diagnostic consistency.
Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe how Trust AI supports hygiene decision-making.
- Evaluate the benefits of AI-powered clinical co-pilots in identifying disease, staging perio, and optimizing recall.
- Understand the machine learning principles behind Trust AI and its evidence-based approach to hygiene workflows.
- Analyze real clinical scenarios where Trust AI enhanced documentation accuracy and reduced diagnostic uncertainty.
- Discuss ethical, legal, and professional considerations when using AI tools in dental hygiene practice.
