About the presenter:
Alicia Murria, RDH, MS, is an accomplished dental hygiene professional, recognized as a published author, international speaker, and dedicated practice productivity coach. In 2022, Alicia published her first book, and she is currently working to have her thesis research published. Both publications focus on the barriers and facilitators that impact hygienists' ability to implement clinical practice guidelines.
As a member of the Hygiene Faculty with Align Technology, a Lead Productivity Coach with Inspired Hygiene, and an alumnus of the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, Alicia's career is centered around advancing dental hygiene education, enhancing access to care, and integrating cutting-edge technology into clinical practice. Her passion for team calibration and commitment to high-quality dental care has driven her to develop continuing education courses that empower dental professionals to maximize their careers, practice with integrity, and fully utilize their scope of practice.
Alicia's research delves into emotional intelligence, communication strategies, and the implementation of digital technology within the hygiene department. She firmly believes in using clinical practice guidelines as a template for delivering high-level care to every patient, regardless of the care setting.
