With Ann-Marie C. DePalma, CDA, RDH, MEd, FADIA, FAADH, FADHA

Course Description:

Documentation is critical in the patient care process and represents a chronological history of the patient's treatment. Your records have been requested by an authority - would they pass inspection? This program will review the steps to provide proper, accurate documentation.

At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Understanding the importance of best practices.
  • Review how to accurately document patient information.
  • Describe steps to create and execute effective documentation.
  • Examine legal/ethical considerations.
  • Utilize technology in documentation.
