In this session, we’ll unpack the science of whitening, how to perform it safely and effectively in-clinic, and what’s driving the growing non-dental whitening market.

- Differentiate between dehydration effects and true peroxide oxidation results.
- Explain the science of stain accumulation and breakdown at the enamel level.
- Provide predictable, safe, and effective chairside whitening outcomes.
- Recognize the shift of whitening from dentistry to medispas and how to reclaim it.
About the Presenter:
Rachel Hicks is a Canadian entrepreneur, retired dental assistant, speaker, and educator recognized for reshaping the professional teeth whitening industry. She is the pioneer of teeth whitening in Canada and the United States. Currently a x3 times founder in the B2C and B2B landscape of teeth whitening services and supplies. Rachel began her career as a chairside dental assistant before moving into sales, education, and entrepreneurship.
She went on to establish Canada’s first commercial whitening studio and develop sensitivity-free protocols that are now adopted nationwide.Today, Rachel speaks internationally on whitening and practice profitability and hosts Whitening Wednesday, a top-rated dental podcast that educates and inspires dental professionals worldwide.
