Business Assistant

Providence Dental Care is searching for a well-rounded full-time Business Assistant with a focus on the insurance portion of our business to help us deliver the best possible dental experience to each and every one of our patients. In supporting our team, Front Office Coordinators have a direct, immediate, impact on the overall success of our office through patient interactions, partnering with our insurance care providers, team collaboration, and process improvement. Monday - Thursday 7:45 am-5:00 pm Friday 7:45am-2:00pm No weekends

Who you are:
6months-2 years working with a high growth medical practice or providing patient care
Experience partnering with providers delivering care to drive performance
A strong commitment to working effectively as a team & demonstrating a sense of urgency
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Best-in-class problem-solving & organizational skills
A positive team player who leads by example
An energetic self-starter

Extra Credit - please note, we are willing to train on the following and more based on your professional goals:
RDA license
Bilingual with English and Spanish language fluency is a plus

What you’ll do:
Interacts and addresses patient feedback in a timely and compassionate manner
Partners with patients and doctors to build office schedules that meet the needs of our patients and overall office success
Communicate effectively and professionally (both written and verbal) with doctors and team members — this includes following HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy
Work alongside teammates to identify opportunities for process improvements to consistently improve the patient
Works with the providers to communicate complex treatment plans and payment options to patients
Identify trends, solutions for improvement and where support is needed from leadership
Confident learning and operating systems for patient care
