Dental Assistant (minimum 2-year experience)
LOCATION
Alexandria, VAWe are a fast pace office, looking for very experienced candidates who can quickly pick up and be adapted in a busy office, eager to learn, and have the passion for dentistry and want to be part of an amazing team.
Qualifications:
X-ray certified; CPR certified.
Perform essential duties satisfactorily, hands-on experience with temp crowns and intra-oral scanning are required
Follow instructions and dental office regulations
Have at least two years of dental office experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Can accommodate individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
Being bilingual is preferred (Spanish and English)
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Take and process X-rays
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Assist with supply inventory and ordering
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
