Overview:

Over the last 8 years, our dental practice has developed a unique service that provides house-call dental services. In conjunction with seeing patients in our office in La Verne, we also treat individuals in the comfort of their own home, who have difficulty getting to the dental office, with the use of portable dental equipment. With the expansion of the practice we are looking to hire a Licensed RDA who will work in office and out in the field, occasionally.

This job requires lifting dental supply carts, a portable dental unit and a portable dental chair in and out of the work vehicle multiple times a day. None of our carts weigh more than 50 lbs but you must be able to easily handle lifting this amount of weight several times a day.
Key responsibilities include:
Direct assisting a variety of dental procedures including restorative, surgical, endo and sedation/GA.
Setting up and tearing down trays/ dental equipment
Charting for doctor and hygienist
Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for yourself and other co-works
Perform all other duties as assigned including taking x-rays, intraoral photos, intraoral scans
Requirements: * RDA License

CPR Certificate
OSHA/ HIPAA Compliant
Must have a current drivers license and a reliable personal vehicle to drive.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required)
Ability to be self-motivated and driven and maintain professional composure and demeanor
Ability to complete work assignments with limited supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients
Ability to write accurate and clear documentation
Ability to apply patient management and time management skills
Physical Requirements: * Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate suction, handle instruments and type on a keyboard.

Position requires driving, standing during a large portion of working hours, bending and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision to drive, vision to walk, close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
