Dental Assistant

Oceanside, NYWe are seeking a dependable and compassionate dental professional to join our patient-centered practice. Our office serves General, PPO, and Private patients in a warm, welcoming environment where teamwork, respect, and quality care are always top priorities. We value team members who enjoy building positive relationships with patients and coworkers while helping create a comfortable experience at every visit.
This part-time role (Mondays) is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a dental office and a high school education. The right candidate will be proficient in taking X-rays and confident in greeting patients with a warm, personable attitude. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to support the team are important in this position.
Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, taking X-rays, supporting the clinical team, and helping maintain an organized and efficient office environment. A friendly, professional manner is essential, as is the ability to help patients feel at ease.
