LOCATION
Atlanta, GASandy Springs Cosmetic & General Dentistry, (Dr. Maria Benefield) is a thriving private dental practice near Perimeter Mall known for providing comprehensive, high-quality care in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable experience for our patients, and we’re looking to add a skilled, organized, and passionate Dental Assistant to our growing practice.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant with expertise in general, cosmetic, and implant procedures, as well as proficiency in Invisalign and iTero scanning. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. An ability to set nervous patients at ease with your compassionate and personable demeanor will put you at the TOP of the list! Key Responsibilities:
Assist Dr. Benefield during a variety of procedures, including general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
-Take digital x-rays and impressions using iTero and trios scanning technology
-Help with Invisalign treatments and patient follow-ups
-Prepare and maintain treatment suites, ensuring they are properly cleaned/sterilized, stocked, and ready for use
-Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and education throughout their visit
-Maintain accurate patient records
-Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety procedures
-Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide seamless patient care
Qualifications:
-Certification as a Dental Assistant (or equivalent experience)
-Proven experience in assisting with general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry
-Familiarity with Invisalign treatments and iTero and trios scanning technology
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Knowledge of Dentrix software and systems
-CPR certification is required
-Reliable transportation
