Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our energetic team in a fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, infection control protocols, and patient care. Our dental assistants are essential in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality dental services while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Our office strives to create a safe and comforting environment for all of our patients!
Responsibilities
-Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, and treatments.
-Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards.
-Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
-Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
-Support the team in maintaining a safe and aseptic environment for all procedures.
Experience
-Previous experience in a dental clinic or as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
-Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique is essential.
-Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
-Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
