Dental Hygienist – Full-Time Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented dental hygienist to join a well-established general dental practice operating with a single doctor and a PPO patient base. This full-time role is ideal for a recent graduate or licensed professional with an RDH degree and no prior experience required. We are looking for someone who is committed to high-quality patient care, effective communication, and a strong team-oriented approach.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care to patients of all ages, with a strong focus on education, comfort, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities include calculus removal, prophylaxis, periodontal screening, scaling and root planing, gingivitis treatment, fluoride treatment, pit and fissure sealants, pediatric hygiene, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, treatment planning, patient recall, and patient records management. You will also assist with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide administration and monitoring, and support diagnostic and restorative workflows as needed.
Clinical technology and systems used in the office include Dentrix, DEXIS, intraoral camera, iTero, NOMAD Pro, digital X-rays, Invisalign support, lasers, and Spear-based treatment coordination. A successful candidate should be comfortable using these tools or open to learning them in a supportive environment.
The practice values efficiency and quality care. You will see one patient at a time, allowing you to deliver focused, individualized treatment. Typical appointment times are 80 minutes for new patients, 60 minutes for existing patients, and 80 minutes for SRP visits with 2 quads per patient. Scheduling and patient flow are structured to support thorough, attentive care.
PPE is provided, including nitrile gloves and regular masks, to help maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment.
The office offers a competitive compensation structure, with pay depending on experience, along with PTO, vacation time, holiday pay, and a 401(k) employer match. Lunch breaks are scheduled as follows: Tuesday from 12–1, and Wednesday and Thursday meals are taken when there is a free moment.
If you are a compassionate hygienist who values patient care, teamwork, and professional growth, this may be an excellent opportunity to build your career in a supportive dental setting.
