Pediatric Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Willis, TXWillis Kids Pediatric Dentistry is a modern pediatric dental practice in Willis Town Center - and we’re creating a bright, cheerful, family-friendly dental home for little Texans! Our practice focuses on creating a fun, seamless, and positive experience for our patients and their families.
We are looking for a skilled, positive, friendly dental assistant who enjoys working with children, can assist efficiently, and wants to help build a brand new practice and grow with us long term. The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior dental experience , and a calm, patient, and positive attitude
- Assist the dentist chair-side during pediatric procedures
- Help kids feel supported, safe, and comfortable, and assist with behavior guidance.
- Demonstrate patience, warmth and confidence while working with children and their families.
- Take digital X-rays gently and confidently
- Turn over operatories quickly and thoroughly.
- Sterilization, disinfection and instrument processing
- Maintaining dental equipment and following care guidelines
- Inventory management and supplies tracking
- Charting, notes, scheduling re care appointments, and maintaining smooth clinical flow
- Be a team player with willingness to support other team members
- Have a desire to grow continually and improve skillset in a respectful, encouraging environment.
