Hygienist

A growing private general dental office with more than 20 years of experience is seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our team on a full-time basis. Our practice provides a broad range of services, including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, and we serve a diverse patient population through both PPO and private pay plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a modern, multi-specialty, multi-doctor environment and values high-quality, patient-centered care.

In this role, you will focus on delivering thorough hygiene services while building trust and educating patients on oral health. You will see one patient at a time and typically have 45 minutes or more with each patient, allowing you to provide careful, personalized treatment. Responsibilities include dental charting, periodontal screening, gingivitis screening and treatment, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, prophylaxis, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, scaling and root planing, Cavitron use, Arestin therapy, and local anesthesia administration as permitted by scope and certification.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a comfortable and professional patient experience. You should be confident working independently while collaborating effectively with doctors and team members across general and specialty services. A college-level education and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are preferred.
