Position: Registered Dental Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to contribute to the smooth operation of our dental practice. Our office is in Sunnyvale.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly wage: Based on experience and qualifications $36.00-$40.00.
Working hours: Monday through Thursday 8:30am- 5:30pm (one-hour lunch break), and Fridays 8:15am -3:15pm (30 minutes lunch break).

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and organizing tools, ensuring patient comfort, and taking detailed notes.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Take diagnosable quality dental X-rays.
- Perform RDA basic dental procedures such as taking an alginate impression, making night gaud, making temporary crown, and polishing teeth under the supervision of the dentist.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with patients before, during, and after treatments to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and overall dental health.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all safety and sanitation protocols are followed.
- Help with ordering supplies.
- Manage the work flow for the daily operations.
