Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Virginia Beach, VAWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our family-oriented general practice, where one doctor and two hygienists work together to provide excellent care in a warm, upbeat, and professional environment. With over 30 years of experience, the doctor values teamwork, organization, and treating every patient like a familiar face. Our small office creates a friendly atmosphere where patients and staff truly get to know one another, making each day more enjoyable.
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who is comfortable supporting a busy dental team and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include chair side assistance, dental charting, patient charting, radiology, infection control, vital signs monitoring, alginate impressions, taking impressions, nitrous oxide monitoring, patient recall, and assisting with restorative procedures, crowns, root canals, extractions, and pit and fissure sealants. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and CPR certification are required. Experience with filing and cross-training is a plus, but not required.
We offer convenient hours, including a 1-hour lunch break and the perk of a three-day weekend. Compensation is hourly, and benefits include PTO, health, vision, FSA, and a 401K.
