Position Overview:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to provide preventative care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and ensure a comfortable and smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain oral health.
• Examine patients’ teeth and gums, detecting potential problems such as gingivitis and periodontal disease.
• Take X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations.
• Assist the dentist during various procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene technologies and techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with open dental software and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
• Positive attitude and passion for improving patients' oral health.
