Part Time Hygienist

LOCATION
Azle, TX

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused dental professional to join a busy general practice on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who values high-quality preventive care, clear communication, and a collaborative clinical environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting patients’ oral health, helping them feel comfortable during visits, and contributing to an efficient, well-organized dental team.

In this position, you will provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene services to patients of all ages. Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, scaling and root planing when indicated, taking and interpreting diagnostic images as directed, assessing oral health conditions, reviewing medical and dental histories, and documenting findings accurately in patient records. You will also educate patients on proper home care techniques, periodontal health, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental maintenance. A strong focus on patient communication and preventive education is essential.

Additional duties include assisting with periodontal charting, supporting the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed, maintaining sterilization and infection-control standards, and ensuring that operatory spaces are prepared and organized. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm, reassuring chairside manner.

Because this is a general practice, you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with a diverse patient population and contribute to a broad range of routine and preventive dental services. Teamwork is highly valued, and the ability to collaborate effectively with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff is important to maintaining a positive patient experience and smooth daily workflow.

Required qualifications include completion of an accredited dental hygiene program, current licensure or eligibility for licensure as required, and a strong foundation in clinical hygiene procedures and infection control. Experience in a general dental setting is preferred, though motivated candidates with solid academic preparation and excellent interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a dependable, courteous, and detail-oriented professional who is committed to delivering exceptional care. If you enjoy educating patients, supporting oral health, and contributing to a respectful and service-oriented dental environment, this may be an excellent opportunity for you.

I know what it’s like to work for a bad practice. I feel like I wasted 4 years of my professional life. A classmate told me about Cloud Dentistry. In the past 8 months, I have worked in numerous practices, had better instrumentation to practice my craft, and have felt a great sense of respect. It’s amazing to feel free again while earning more money.

I really like the rating system for both the provider and the office so that it provides a brief snapshot of the level of service provided.
