Dental Assistant or EDDA

38th Modern Dental is an established general dentistry clinic located in the Denver Highlands. We are seeking a Dental Assistant or EDDA to join our growing team full-time, Monday-Thursday. Our ideal Dental Assistant/EDDA will bring reliability, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented focus to our practice. We are seeking 1 or more years of experience in general dentistry with EDDA experience as a huge plus. Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-4pm

Compensation: $24-$30/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Genuinely welcome patients into the practice
*Assist the dentist chairside
*A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
*Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
*Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations
*Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory
*Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
*Provide post-operative instructions
*Order and stock supplies, and any additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:
*1+ year(s) of experience in general dentistry required
*Active CPR Certification required
*X-Ray Certification Required
*EDDA experience and certification preferred
*Dental Assistant Certification preferred
