Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)
LOCATION
Dayton, OHWe are seeking a dependable and motivated dental assistant to join our growing general practice. This is a full-time opportunity in a single-doctor, privately owned office with a friendly, easy-going team and a brand-new facility equipped with the latest technology. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a modern, supportive environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
The ideal candidate must have EFDA certification and the skills needed to assist efficiently in a general dentistry setting. Responsibilities will include supporting the doctor during procedures, preparing treatment areas, maintaining organization, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. A strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential.
This position offers a 1-hour lunch break, on-site parking, and a comfortable work environment with provided PPE including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Benefits include insurance, PTO, free dental treatments or reduced-cost treatment when lab work is needed, and a CE allowance.
