Are you a passionate and skilled dental hygienist ready to elevate your career in a dynamic dental practice? We invite you to apply for a part-time position within our well-established office specializing in periodontics, oral surgery, and comprehensive private dental care. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our dedicated team due to the retirement of our current hygienist.
In this role, you’ll thrive in a supportive environment where you will see one patient at a time for approximately one hour each. You will provide essential services that include periodontal charting, scaling, polishing, oral cancer screenings, and patient education on oral hygiene practices. Your expertise in systemic and periodontal health is crucial to enhancing our patients' experiences and promoting their long-term health.
Our office utilizes Dentrix, ensuring a smooth, paperless workflow that enhances efficiency and patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as a dental hygienist, demonstrating proficiency in all required special skills. Strong teamwork and communication abilities are essential, as you will be collaborating closely with our dental team and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
We understand the importance of work-life balance, and while you will be working two Mondays from 9 AM to 5 PM and two Thursdays from 8 AM to 4 PM each month, there is potential for expanding your days and hours. A lunch break will be provided as needed, typically ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. Ample parking is available for staff convenience.
Compensation for this position ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, with specific benefits to be discussed with potential candidates. We are committed to ensuring that our team members feel valued and supported in their professional journey.
