We are seeking a dependable, full-time dental assistant to join a professional, patient-focused dental office serving general dentistry needs in a single-doctor, PPO, and private practice setting. This role is ideal for someone with a high school education, 2–3 years of experience, and a strong background in clinical and administrative support. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who is comfortable working in a busy, organized environment and can contribute to smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities include chairside assistance, four-handed dentistry, instrument sterilization, infection control, dental charting, patient charting, appointment scheduling, filing, inventory support, and oral hygiene instruction. Experience with alginate impressions, taking impressions, crowns/assisting, bleaching, whitening tray fabrication, Zoom whitening, and treatment planning is highly valued. Strong knowledge of Dentrix is required, along with comfort using Microsoft Office, DEXIS, intraoral camera systems, iTero, and digital X-rays. Scanning experience is important. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
Additional qualifications include CPR certification, excellent dental terminology knowledge, and a positive attitude. Cross-trained experience is a plus. The office provides disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. This position includes a 1-hour lunch break and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
