Dental Hygienist Wanted for a Growing General Dentistry Practice

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who is eager to make an impact in a supportive, organized, and low-stress atmosphere.

As a dental hygienist with us, you will manage one patient at a time, ensuring they receive personalized attention and care during visits that typically last 45-60 minutes, including a consultation with the dentist. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough periodontal screenings, providing prophylaxis, administering fluoride treatments, and performing scaling and root planing when necessary. You will also have the opportunity to educate patients about oral hygiene and assist with nitrous oxide monitoring, making this position ideal for those with specialized skills.

To thrive in our environment, you should possess at least two years of experience in a dental hygiene role. Proficiency in various skills, such as Cavitron use, digital X-rays with use of the Rinn, and pediatric hygiene. Our practice utilizes photos, intraoral photos, and scanning to communicate with patients, and your hands-on expertise will contribute significantly to our growth and the overall patient experience.

While we do not currently offer benefits, we pride ourselves on providing a flexible workplace where every team member feels valued and heard. As our practice continues to grow, we are open to discussing a transition from hourly compensation to a percentage or salary model after six months based on performance and contributions. As the relationship grows, we are interested in investing in new hygiene equipment as well.
