PERIO HYGIENIST

We are a periodontal specialty office seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join our growing team in a full-time capacity. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled, patient-focused professional who values quality care, collaboration, and the ability to contribute to both periodontal and private practice services in a supportive clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and a strong background in periodontal care, preventive services, and patient education. In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services and work closely with the clinical team to support treatment planning and ongoing periodontal maintenance. Responsibilities include periodontal screening and treatment, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, prophylaxis, gingivitis screening and treatment, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, patient recall, and oral pathology screening. Additional clinical responsibilities may include antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial placement, Arestin therapy, Atridox application, local anesthesia, TMJ disorder support, bone grafting assistance, and sterile procedures.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable using modern dental technologies and digital systems, including Cavitron, digital X-rays, intraoral camera systems, and NOMAD Pro. Experience with CAD/CAM technology, data entry, Dentrix, Kodak, Microsoft Office, Planmeca, Carestream, and DEXIS is highly valued. Strong communication skills are essential, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. CPR certification is required.

We offer a full-time schedule with a 1-hour lunch break and provide the necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Compensation for this position is $57 per hour.
