Description:
Aurora Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Surgical Assistant to join our team! As a intern, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. Schedule:
Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am-2:00pm
Compensation :
$25-28 (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in monitoring patient’s vital statistics during surgery.
Review pre-op and post-op instructions with patients.
Review patient health history and updates via the practice management software.
Acquire diagnostic x-rays.
Prepare and break down surgical tray and operatories
Qualifications:

Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments.
Superior organizational skills and be able to take initiative.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
Reliable transportation.
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months surgical experience or relevant experience in a dental/medical profession.
