REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

We are a small, privately-owned, friendly and fun practice in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, and we are seeking an experienced dental hygienist to join our team in a full-time role supporting both General and Prosthodontic care. This opportunity is available because our current hygienist is retiring, and we are looking for someone who is ready to step into a supportive, patient-centered environment where quality care, positive relationships and teamwork are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in a dental office and will bring strong clinical and interpersonal skills to the role. Required qualifications include X-ray certification, experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred, but will train if necessary), dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, sterilization of instruments, entering case notes, keeping operatory sterile and organized, greeting hygiene patients, scheduling recall appointments. We are also looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and confident in communicating with patients. Since our practice values comfort, trust, and teamwork, the right person will enjoy helping patients feel at ease while delivering excellent care.

In this role, you will see one patient at a time and typically spend 45+ minutes with each patient, allowing you to provide focused, thorough care. The schedule includes a 30-minute lunch break, and paid parking is available for your convenience. Because this is a full-time position, we are seeking someone who is dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a smooth and welcoming clinical flow throughout the day.
