What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will help support smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care by:
Present treatment plans and explain procedures, timelines, and financial obligations in a clear and compassionate manner
Review insurance benefits and calculate patient out-of-pocket costs
Coordinate scheduling of future appointments based on provider availability and treatment needs
Offer and review payment plan options and financing resources with patients
Act as a liaison between clinical staff and front desk to ensure treatment planning accuracy
Follow up with unscheduled treatment to encourage case acceptance
Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and financial agreements in the dental software
Monitor treatment acceptance metrics and work to improve patient engagement
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Squire Dental financial policies
Deliver exceptional service while supporting a positive, team-oriented culture
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in dental front office or treatment coordination
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance
Preferred:
Proficiency in dental software systems (Denticon)
Prior experience as a peer leader, trainer, or mentor
Experience presenting large treatment plans in general, ortho, or specialty settings
Familiarity with third-party financing platforms (e.g., CareCredit, Sunbit)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Standard dental office environment
Frequent sitting, phone use, and computer work
Occasional walking between clinical and front office areas
Ability to handle high-volume and emotionally sensitive conversations with professionalism
