Saturday Hygienist needed

We are seeking an experienced dental professional to join a busy general practice committed to high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and confident in delivering preventive oral health services in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports a collaborative team focused on maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, education, and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include performing thorough dental cleanings, periodontal charting, coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, sealant placement, and oral health education. The selected candidate will also take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs as permitted, review medical and dental histories, and identify signs of oral disease for communication to the supervising dentist. Strong communication skills are important, as this role involves explaining home care techniques, reinforcing treatment recommendations, and helping patients feel at ease during their visits.

Candidates should have a college-level education in dental hygiene and be licensed or eligible for licensure as required. Prior experience in a general dental setting is preferred. We are looking for someone with excellent clinical judgment, strong attention to detail, and a professional, team-oriented attitude. The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence is essential.

The schedule is part-time, every Saturday with hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and no lunch break.

The office provides appropriate personal protective equipment to support safety and infection control, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Strict adherence to safety and sterilization protocols is expected at all times.
