Our laid-back, patient-focused dental practice in the beautiful beach town of San Clemente is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist with LBR certification to join our awesome team on Wednesdays 7:30am-4:30pm and Thursdays 7:30am-1:30pm. We are a multi-specialty practice serving General, Periodontics, PPO, and Private patients, and we value a warm, professional approach to care in a collaborative environment.

This position is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys building strong patient relationships while delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care. You will work closely with the dental team to support comprehensive treatment planning and help maintain excellent oral health outcomes. Experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply if you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to patient education.

Responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, ultrasonic scaling, calculus removal, periodontal treatment, gingivitis screening and treatment, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, oral cancer and oral pathology screenings, fluoride or hydroxyapatite varnish application, pit and fissure sealants, Arestin therapy, chlorhexidine and/or irrigation agent application, local anesthesia, vital signs monitoring, and patient recall support. Additional duties include dental charting, patient records documentation, treatment planning support, scheduling coordination, sterile procedures, and use of digital tools such as Dentrix, DEXIS, intraoral camera systems, and digital X-rays. Familiarity with lasers and Curodont by Vardis is a plus.

The ideal candidate is CPR certified, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced yet supportive setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients clearly at a college level are essential. You should also be comfortable providing compassionate care while maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence.
