P/T Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office

Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience while performing all aspects of preventive dental hygiene care. New grads welcome to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and patient education
· Conduct oral cancer screenings and take dental x-rays
· Review and update patient medical and dental histories
· Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide optimal patient care
· Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment care instructions
· Maintain accurate and timely patient records
· Ensure compliance with all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
· Current California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
· Current CPR certification
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort and safety
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Schedule:
· Part-time
· Office hours: Tuesday and Thursday , 8-5pm, 1 hour lunch

Compensation:
· Hourly Rate: $70 – $75 per hour (based on experience and skills)
