Dental Assistant/Orthodontics
LOCATION
Wallingford, CTWe are seeking a reliable and caring dental assistant to join our growing multi-specialty practice on a part-time basis, with the potential to add an additional day. Our team includes pediatrics, general dentistry, and orthodontics, and we value patient care, education, and teamwork in everything we do.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of dental assisting experience and a strong interest in orthodontics assisting. Responsibilities include supporting doctors during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and processing digital X-rays, managing lab cases, optimizing the schedule, assisting with intraoral imaging, and helping maintain smooth patient flow. Experience with Dentrix, DEXIS, iTero, NOMAD Pro, and digital X-rays is preferred.
We are a women-owned private practice serving general, pediatric, orthodontic, PPO, and private patients. Our office is equipped with advanced technology, including an iTero scanner, Nomad X-ray, and Solea laser. We offer a supportive, dynamic team environment that works seamlessly together to support both our doctors and each other.
The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with a lunch break of 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the day. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. PPE provided includes disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Parking is available in a lot.
