Orthodontic Assistant (OrthoCoach)

Compensation: Starting at $20/hour with 4+ years of experience

We refer to our clinical assistants as OrthoCoaches because they do more than assist—they educate, guide, and support patients throughout their treatment. Who We’re Looking For
-An Orthodontic Assistant with 4+ years of clinical experience
-Someone reliable, proactive, and genuinely invested in providing 5-star patient care
-A team player who values camaraderie and enjoys working closely with colleagues
-A candidate who lives between Houston and Lake Jackson (preferred but not required)
-A detail-oriented individual who follows systems, processes, and maintains high professional standards

What You’ll Do
-Perform standard orthodontic clinical procedures, including:
-Taking digital photos and x-rays
-Fabricating Essix retainers
-Fitting bands and changing archwires
-Performing indirect and direct bonding
-Managing clinical inventory
-Navigating digital practice software efficiently
-Uphold all safety and infection control protocols
-Assist with patient communication throughout the day, including:
-Phone calls
-HIPAA-compliant text and email communication
-Support Dr. Cooper and the clinical team in all aspects of patient care
-Complete daily digital checklists and administrative tasks using Todoist
-Embrace digital workflows—our office is fully digital and uses software extensively for notes, lab work, and clinical processes
-Utilize iTero scanning, 3D printing, and other advanced technologies (training provided)
