We are seeking an experienced x-ray certified Dental Assistant to join our group practice. The ideal candidate will assist experienced dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take digital dental X-rays
- Record patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records systems like Dentrix
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Maintain aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures
Skills:
** MUST be x-ray certified. **
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques
- Ability to prepare temporary crowns
- Ability to take accurate X-rays
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Supportive and welcoming work environment
