Busy energetic practice seeking to hire a full time dental assistant
LOCATION
Lansing, MIWe are seeking a dependable and friendly dental assistant to join our full-time team in a busy, patient-focused dental office serving families of all ages. This general, multi-doctor, private practice offers a positive and energetic work environment where teamwork, kindness, and quality care come first.
In this role, you will support the dentists and help create a smooth, comfortable experience for patients during their visits. Daily responsibilities may include preparing treatment rooms, assisting chairside during procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking dental X-rays as allowed, assisting with CEREC and 3D printing needs, reviewing patient charts, and helping with other clinical and front office tasks as needed. A strong attention to detail, a cheerful attitude, and the ability to work well with others are important.
We are looking for someone with a high school education and preferably at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, though we are willing to train the right candidate. Ideal applicants are professional, organized, adaptable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
We work Monday - Thursdays and one hald day Friday per month. Typical hours are 7:30am-5:00pm with a full one hour lunch break. We provide essential PPE, including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to support a safe work setting for our team.
