Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to ensure optimal patient oral health.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in identifying potential oral health issues and collaborating with the dental team to create tailored treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation regarding treatment and patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

- A graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a dental hygienist.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical dental setting is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
- A commitment to continued education and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices.
