Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Dental Assistant with a strong background in prosthodontics to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who brings energy and optimism to every day, thrives on patient care, and enjoys anticipating needs and adapting on the fly. You will partner directly with Dr. Spitz, assisting in all aspects of prosthodontic and surgical care, including crown/veneer preparation, occlusion and bite management, implant placement, sinus lifts, and more.

Key Responsibilities
● Chairside assist for prosthodontic, periodontal, implant, and surgical procedures with Dr. Spitz
● Chairside assist for General dentists and endodontists when they are in the office
● Anticipate procedural needs and communicate real-time changes with the doctor and the front
● Take and process digital radiographs, CBCT scans, and iTero digital impressions (Will receive training)
● Fabricate mouthguards and night guards using in-house lab equipment and 3D printing (Will receive training)
● Maintain operatory readiness, including sterilization and OSHA-level infection control
● Participate in team meetings, contributing to operational improvements and quarterly goals
● Have an “All In” attitude with your team, ensuring outstanding patient care
● Maintain and utilize sterilization throughout the day

What We’re Looking For
● Prosthodontic expertise: Minimum of 8 years of dental assisting experience in prosthodontics (restorations, crown/veneer prep, occlusion/bite)
● Surgical comfort: Ability to assist in implant surgeries, sinus lifts, and other advanced procedures
● Adaptability & foresight: A forward-thinking, flexible, and able to pivot treatment plans when necessary
● Team-first mindset: Strong communication and relationship-building skills; a natural collaborator who supports patients and colleagues
● Dental software proficiency: Dentrix, digital radiographs, CBCT, iTero, and NoMad. 3D printing is a plus

Schedule & Location
● Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
● Brookline, MA (Greater Boston; .3 miles from Kenmore Square/Fenway Park)
