West Hills, CAWe are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented dental professional to join a busy multi-specialty dental practice in a full-time role. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about oral health, enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment, and is committed to providing high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive preventive care and supporting overall treatment success through excellent clinical skills and patient education. Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, scaling and polishing, taking and reviewing patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and assisting the dental team in maintaining an efficient clinical workflow. You will also educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, home care routines, and the importance of regular preventive maintenance.
In this role, strong communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable interacting with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, explaining procedures clearly, and helping to create a positive and professional dental experience. Attention to detail, organization, and a calm, compassionate approach to care are highly valued.
This full-time position includes a one-hour lunch break and offers the opportunity to work in a multi-specialty setting where teamwork and professional growth are encouraged. The ideal candidate will hold a hygienist license and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office or similar clinical environment. A college-level educational background is expected.
