Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hygienist to join us promoting oral health, working to keep teeth a lifetime. The ideal person will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, be proficient with adult and pediatric prophies, and work effectively in a team-oriented office.

Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and review medical histories to ensure comprehensive care.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing and periodontal procedures.
Take and develop accurate X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain accurate patient care and medical records within the Dentrix EMR system in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Document visits using the Dentrix EMR dental system.

Skills
Proficient in pediatric and adult treatment, patients from 3 to 100 years old.
Proficient in using Dentrix software for patient management.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate, motivate and interact with patients about oral health.
Excellent time management skills.
Previous experience is preferred.
