Monday - Wednesday - Friday Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a motivated dental hygienist to join our growing general dental practice, a single-doctor PPO and private-pay office committed to helping patients achieve and maintain lifelong dental wellness. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys building trusted patient relationships and delivering exceptional preventive care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

In this role, you will work one patient at a time, allowing you to provide thorough, personalized care with appointment times typically ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours based on clinical complexity. No appointments are scheduled for less than one hour, supporting a calm and well-paced workflow. A lunch break is provided from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The schedule for this position is Monday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene services and supporting overall oral health through patient-centered preventive care. Daily duties may include prophylaxis, gingivitis screening and treatment, fluoride treatment, air polishing, Cavitron use, impressions, irrigation agents, bleaching, and antibiotic and Arestin therapy as appropriate. You will also provide oral hygiene instruction, patient education, patient recall, oral cancer screening, local anesthesia, and four-handed dentistry support. Additional responsibilities include dental charting, patient records and file maintenance, scheduling, and maintaining accurate documentation. CPR certification is expected.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 months of experience preferred, with a strong foundation in clinical hygiene skills and a professional, caring approach. A college-level education is expected. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care are essential.
