part time registered dental hygienist
LOCATION
Jupiter, FLWe are seeking an experienced registered dental hygienist to join a friendly private general practice. This part time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care. The schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with one patient seen at a time and approximately one hour dedicated to each appointment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical hygiene skills and a solid understanding of periodontal care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive hygiene appointments, periodontal charting, scaling and root planing (SRP), preventive maintenance, and patient education tailored to individual needs. You should be comfortable using digital X-rays and intraoral imaging, and prior experience with Eaglesoft is preferred.
We are looking for someone who can build lasting patient relationships through clear communication, a gentle chairside manner, and a patient-focused approach. A key part of this role is helping patients understand their oral health, the value of recommended care, and the importance of preventive treatment. The ability to encourage treatment acceptance in a professional and supportive way is highly valued.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in dental hygiene and demonstrate confidence in working independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a smooth clinical workflow are essential. The right person will be collaborative, dependable, and dedicated to delivering an excellent patient experience at every visit.
This position offers competitive compensation of $43 to $45 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for a skilled hygienist who can provide exceptional care while supporting the success of a well-run, patient-centered general dentistry practice.
