Part Time Dental Hygienist
LOCATION
Austin, TXWe are seeking a skilled and motivated dental professional to join a busy general dental practice in a full-time role. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys providing high-quality preventive care, educating patients, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive periodontal maintenance and prophylaxis services, complete oral health assessments, take and review necessary dental radiographs, and document findings accurately and thoroughly. You will also deliver patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations to support long-term oral health. The ability to build trust with patients and communicate clearly with the dental team is essential.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in dental hygiene and hold a current RDH license. A college-level education is expected. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient comfort are important for success in this role. Experience working in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
This is a full-time position with office hours Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A 30-minute lunch break is provided each day. Scheduling is designed to allow you to focus on one patient at a time, with approximately 1 hour allocated per patient. This pace supports quality care, individualized attention, and effective time management. Parking is available in the parking lot for convenient access.
Compensation for this position is $52–$62 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with TBD for final details. With a sign on bonus of 500$.
