Role & Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will:
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, including overall health and medication history.
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists by handling supplies and instruments as requested.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take high-quality dental radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentists and dental hygienists.
- Ensure an appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
- Perform patient charting as instructed by dentists and dental hygienists.
- Provide information to patients and fellow team members by answering questions and requests.
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
Compensation & Benefits:
Your weekly schedule will be about 35-38 hours per week.
Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour*
