We are looking for a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our growing dental practice.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, loves following systems and processes, and takes pride in making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We are a system-driven practice. We have created processes for how we communicate with patients, schedule appointments, prepare patients for consultations, follow up, and move patients through their treatment journey. We are looking for someone who doesn't just tolerate structure — we want someone who genuinely enjoys it.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for both new and existing patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Daily checking voicemails, emails and fax documents
Scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating new and existing patient appointments
Communicating with patients in person and by phone, text, and email in a warm and professional manner
Verifying insurance benefits and assisting with basic insurance-related questions
Collecting and documenting patient information accurately, while keeping them organized and up to date
Following office systems, checklists, protocols, and workflows consistently
Communicating effectively with doctors and the rest of the team
Helping maintain a smooth, organized, and efficient patient experience

Experience & Qualifications

Previous dental office patient coordination experience strongly preferred
Previous experience with dental insurance verification is a plus
Basic understanding of dental insurance benefits, verification, and pre-authorizations, as we use eAssist to file all claims.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Professional phone etiquette
Ability to confidently communicate with new and existing patients
Experience with Open Dental practice management software is a plus
