Maternity leave coverage from Dec 7-March 4th

A welcoming, family-centered dental practice is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team for a full-time role supporting patients of all ages. This temporary opening is available because our current dental hygienist is on maternity leave. We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative general dentistry setting.

In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care while helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend about one hour with each patient, allowing you the time needed to deliver thorough, personalized care. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, periodontal screening and treatment, gingivitis screening and treatment, fluoride treatment, oral cancer screening, oral pathology screening, patient education, patient recall, file maintenance, scheduling, and ultrasonic scaling. You may also assist with irrigation agents, cavitron use, chlorhexidine, and nitrous oxide administration and monitoring as needed.

The ideal candidate must hold a Dental Hygiene License. Experience is not required; we welcome applicants with any level of background, as long as they are eager to learn and committed to providing excellent patient care. An Associate -level education is expected, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages is important.

Our office supports a safe and prepared work environment. Personal protective equipment provided includes goggles, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Lunch breaks are one hour long, and parking is available in our parking lot for added convenience.

Compensation for this position is $45–$55 per hour.
