Dental Hygienist

About Us:
We are a well-established prosthodontic office dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. Our team focuses on restoring function, comfort, and aesthetics through advanced prosthodontic treatments such as full mouth rehabilitations. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team and help provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth, with a focus on restorative dental care
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and preventive treatments related to prosthodontic
Take X-rays as needed and assist with diagnostic imaging
Chart and document patient treatments and progress
Assist in maintaining an organized and sterilized work environment
Collaborate with the prosthodontist and the team to discuss treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
Monitor patients’ oral health and identify areas needing special attention
Educate patients on maintaining oral hygiene around dental prostheses

Qualifications:
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist (CRDH)
Minimum [3] years of experience in dental hygiene, with preference for experience in prosthodontics preferred
Knowledge and experience with dental radiography and digital imaging.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Passionate about patient education and preventive care.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced prosthodontic procedures.
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software
Airflow experience a plus
