We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our general practice on a part-time basis. If you are passionate about oral health, patient education, and providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you!
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by delivering high-quality preventive care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, taking dental x-rays, assessing oral health, and educating patients about proper oral hygiene practices. Your strong communication skills will help foster trusting relationships with our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed during their visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for each patient.
- Take and interpret dental x-rays when required.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who brings at least one year of dental hygiene experience and holds a valid dental hygiene license. A positive attitude and outstanding communication skills are essential, as you'll be interacting with patients one-on-one, creating an environment of trust and support. You will work with one patient at a time, allowing you to focus entirely on their needs, typically spending 50 minutes to one hour per appointment to ensure thorough and attentive care.
Work Environment:
Our modern dental office offers convenient parking in our parking lot and provides a supportive work environment where your skills will be recognized and valued. You will enjoy a focused work pace with each patient, dedicating the necessary time to meet their specific needs. Lunch breaks are provided for 30 minutes to ensure you have time to recharge during your busy day.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation ranging from $42 to $55 per hour, reflecting your experience and dedication to providing excellent patient care.
