Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Allen, TXWe are a growing private, single-doctor general dental practice seeking a dependable dental assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a team player who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent infection control. You will support both clinical and administrative needs in a busy, patient-focused office.
Responsibilities include chair side assistance, four-handed and six-handed dentistry, instrument sterilization, patient charting, dental charting, appointment scheduling, front office support, and patient education. Additional duties may include impressions, coronal polishing, x-rays with digital systems and NOMAD Pro, intraoral camera imaging, temporary crown fabrication, cord packing, suture removal, vital signs monitoring, whitening tray fabrication, and assisting with cosmetic dentistry procedures such as veneers, crowns, bridges, and Zoom whitening. Experience with Open Dental, DEXIS, iTero, inventory management, ordering supplies, and patient recall is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, a high school education, and strong skills in customer service, bilingual communication, and expanded functions. CPR certification is a plus.
We provide disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, and nitrile gloves to support a safe work environment.
