Dental Assistant

Are you passionate about dental care and looking to make a difference in patients’ lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at 49 Bells Dental.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare trays and operatories for scheduled procedures
Assist the dentist during various procedures and treatments by providing 4- handed dentistry
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental radiographs using standard dental radiographic equipment
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding
Maintain patient records by verifying patient health history, log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart and manage appointment while preserving patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
Follow safety policies and procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Be present, engaged, a team player, and assist with office duties as requested
Qualifications:
Dental Assisting Certification
X-Ray Certification
Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Computer experience that allows you to use patient management software, scanning, and imaging devices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
1 year + prior DA experience
CPR Certification
Hours (Not including prep and breakdown)
Monday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fridays-Sunday: Closed
